THE DOMESTICS: 'ROUTINE & RITUAL' CD
Through their natural mixing of elements from the best of the U.S. (Poison Idea, Black Flag, Out Cold, Limp Wrist, Green Beret), Japan (Gauze, Warhead, Kreigshög) and the UK (Discharge, Chaos UK, Violent Reaction), The Domestics end up sounding fresh through the breadth of their influences.
Many of the elements may feel familiar but the overall sound is hard to pin down with any real certainty. They ain’t reinventing the wheel here but I can’t think of another band that sounds quite like them. Full of hate, hope and hooks (memorable songs and hardcore can go together – don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!). Socially aware lyrics tackling frustration, depression, cultural and sub-cultural norms and more add to a album that demands repeated plays.
Oh yeah, I guess while we’re talking this up we should probably mention that Dean Jones from the legendary EXTREME NOISE TERRO guests on ‘Fuck Your War’, brutalizing that track even further. EAHC thunders on…

THE DOMESTICS: 'KEEP IT LEAN' CD
First album from 2012!
Influenced by US hardcore giants such as Black Flag and Poison Idea, classic UK bands like Discharge and Subhumans plus more recent punk favourites OFF!, Mauser, The Shitty Limits, Sudor etc, The Domestics don’t deal in filler riffs, just straight to the point, catchy, in your face hardcore punk, albeit with brief forays into non- 4/4 time signatures (the fucking show-offs).
Fourteen songs of questioning, class conscious, socio-personal-political invective spewed into the void via steamroller drums, pummelling guitars and catchy as hell tunes is what you get on Keep it Lean’s twenty-one minutes. Frankly, what more could any self-respecting punk want from an album?

PI$$ER: 'CARVED UP PASTE FOR WRETCHED YUKS' CD
In case you've somehow missed it up to now...PI$$ER are the fresh injection of originality the often "by numbers" d-beat scene needed. Featuring d-beat legends like Bri Talbot from DOOM/SORE THROAT and Charlie Claesson from ANTI-CIMEX/DRILLER KILLER, UKHC stalwarts James Domestic (THE DOMESTICS, TOKYO LUNGS, HAZARD PROFILE etc.) and Rhodes (THE DOMESTICS, UNICORN FART SUGAR), alongside MATT WOODS (ex-REVENGE OF THE PSYCHOTRNIC MAN) and Eddie O'Toole (THE SHITTY LIMITS, THE FILAMENTS, BEAT THE RED LIGHT), it's like who's who of punk!
"a breath of fresh air" for some, and "just too weird" for others; they're a marmite band for sure, and that's just how they like it. As much indebted to THE CONTORTIONS, THE CRAVATS, ARMIA and X-RAY SPEX (yes, a saxophone is involved) as they are DISCHARGE, and indeed their own d-beat/hardcore history, this is a band flowing their own furrow and not afraid to experiment. Punk as fuck in other words.
This CD compiles all of the tracks from their first three vinyl-only releases - the 'Wretched Life' 7", 'Crushed Down To Paste' 12", and the 'Carved Up For Yuks' 12"...AND there's a PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED BONUS TRACK too!

Before THE DOMESTICS, James Domestic was doing Dub Weasel - a project that spewed out totally whacked out dub reggae with strident, heavy basslines, heavy fx and catchy tunes.
